Hi, I'm Tom Stenson. Product manager, systems thinker, & deep-end swimmer.

This website is a reboot of my 2005 portfolio. It's where I write about product management, growth, AI, and how things connect.

Privately, I'm a Brit living in Copenhagen with my wife, two kids, and one rabbit.

My Story

First computer

Late 80s: first computer. Typing out BASIC from a magazine, syntax errors.

Dot.com boom

Late 90s: dot.com boom. Kids in bedrooms disrupting industries. I had to get involved - started making websites.

Dot.com bust

2003: Dot.com bust. No jobs. Got a foot in the door answering phones & made a better website in my free time. Pitched it, sales went up, joined the web team.

Learning by doing

2004 - 2014: Learning by doing. Following impact across web, marketing, growth and product.

Health-tech

2016: Health-tech. The last industry to be disrupted - regulations, barriers, the lot. That's why I went.

AI changes everything

2026. AI changes everything. Same feeling as the 90s.

What's next?

I like challenging problems with a big upside, I'm currently exploring new opportunities and ideas.
